The way of Love
There is a genre katarimono which is kind of a recitation, but with instrument. Katarimono includes such as Rokyoku relatively new entertainment, Gidayu-bushi as known as Joruri; a music Tayu recites accompanied by shamisen player, Heikyoku typically the tale of Heike told by biwa houshi; the monk playing the Japanese lute, Sekkyo-bushi which is derived from a buddhist preach and it turned into a song.

-Japanese traditionals and Ningyo Joruri-
"Flower Arrangement in Traditional Japanese-Style archetecture"
We want to introduce you Awa Jurobe yashiki as Japanese traditional house and a opportunity to experience Japanese traditionals as well as ningyo joruri.
We believe that ikebana and ningyo joruri have commons in the beauty of traditional culture like a simple and viable expressions, a subtle sensibility and an exquisite skills.
This workshop will be delivered by Ms.Norika Nitta from the house of Sogetu with seasonal flower. You can join just one class.
Please take this opportunity to see the performance of Ningyo Joruri as well.

A puppet troupe Heiseiza named after Heisei era was introduced in Kawauchi-cyo, Tokushima city in 1988.
Many puppet troupes often composed of only puppeteers, but they have Tayu; narrator section, that of Shamisen and one of puppeteer.
Ms. Muneko Fujimoto who is a tayu named Tomoyuki Takemoto became a member of the troupe as Tayu in 1994, and she has been the member for 27 years ever since.
She was trained by the late Tomoji Turuzawa who was the living national treasure, and she was appointed to Takemoto Tomoyuki as stage name. After that she took the head of the troupe and runs it since 2001.
So far, Heiseiza has been performing all over the world, organizing Heiseiza Junior club and cultivate successor of Ningyo Joruri.
She tries very hard for the future of Ningyo Joruri for long time. We support this show and wish her to be greatly success.

Yebisu Festival in Awa Jurobe Yashiki
Awa Jurobe Yashiki YEBISU festival
We will hold Awa Jurobe Yashiki YEBISU festival to bress the new year and to
share fortunes from Yebisu, a god of fortune.
At first, the most popular theme Keisei Awa no Naruto Act. pilgrimage song will be performed. Secondaly, a puppet show Yebisu Mai;Yebisu dance, a god of fortune, Yebisu share his fortunes with audiences, Kotobuki Ninin Sambaso two mischievous gods dancing pray for good harvest and world peace.
At the end, Shishi Mai; a ritual dance of performare with a lion mask and Kasa Odori; children dancing with umbrella which is handed down in Morifuji area, Yoshinogawa city, Tokushima will be on the stage.
