Tokubeza（Mr. Martin Holman is chairing), one of the puppet troupes in Tokushima will perform "Ningyo Joruri in summer" at Jurobe Yashiki on 25th July with a wish to make better society together with all visitors, in order to make you smile, be thoughtful and cheer up each other. Bless everyone before harsh summer coming.
In this performance, they will give us two auspicious program "Meoto(Married couple) Shishimai" to purge evil spirits and pray for good health and "Ebis Mai" performed with Ebisu, the god of fortune. These are the original scripts written by Tokubeza, and they will use many props relevant to summer like sunglasses, shaved ice, soda, swimming ring and sunshade. In addition, there will be friends from the Antarctic and Arctic region, so that not only adults, but also children will be able to enjoy this event.
You can see regular performance "Keisei Awa no Naruto Act. the pilgrimage song" starts from 11:00 and from 14:00 as well. (performed by Yusekai and Tokushimaza)
